BIO

Dan Wilde is a talented singer songwriter and performer whose lyrics have been described as “deeply personal and introspective but engrossing and charismatic too” (Folkwords). Currently based in Cambridge, Dan has been performing his own brand of richly observant folk, both in the UK and abroad for the past 5 years, developing his reputation as “a fantastic songwriting talent who without a doubt will deserve and demand your attention” (Eclectically Challenged).

Wilde’s second album “With Fire In Mind” explores a wider variety of subjects than debut album “This Is The Place” as Wilde turns his perceptive gaze onto topics such as moving to a new place, trying to find a job and the everyday injustices in our society. Although in some ways the song topics would suggest a more light-hearted offering “With Fire In Mind” does not shy away from the depth of emotion that was praised in his early writing.
